Story


Zamane Ki Hawa is a 1952 Indian Bollywood social film released on 1952. The film is directed by Walli.
"ZAMANE-KI-HAWA" unfolds a story that is the need of the hour and a refrom that is indispensably needed. It is the most pathetic tale of the danghter of a father who wanted her to be adored by one and all of the fashionable world. He gave her education and absolnte freedom to mix up amoung the CREAM of society ultimately to pick up the evils. Her motto was "Eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow we die". . Her intimacy with Kidhore, the proprietor of Hindustan Theatres, brought her father to senses with a rude shock, when he learnt that their friendship had crossed the sanetity of love. Despite persistent prostion Kishore refused to own her when she was on her way to motherhood. Umas parents committed suicide in absointe desperation. . Bewildered Uma took a train for the city and on the way befriended a newly married girl who was accompanying her husband to his place immediately after marriage. The girl offered her a ring which she reuctantly accepted. Man proposes and God disposes. As illuck would have it, a collision of the trains threw the married couple in the lap of death. Uma was left in darkness to fight for a ray of hope. . The news of mishap reached the deceaseds house. Lady Kapoor took Uma to be her daughter-in-law because she was wearing that ring. Uma denied but the doctor and Lady Kapoor thought the acident had deranged her brain and took her home. . Lady Kappors younger son Komal who was on the continent and had no information about his brothers death, was overjoyed to meet his sister-in-law. He expressed a keen desire to meet his brother, when his mother and sister-in-law told him the dismal and shocking truth. When Lady Kapoor distributed her entire property between Uma and Komal the villain Kishore read of it in the papers and reached Bombay with his accomplice, Harry. . Kishore succeeded in black-mailing her. His greed became boundless and when he phoned her to see him at midnight, of Komal followed her to Kishores place. Kishore became aware of Komals presence in his house and played a dangerously double game. Komal concluded that Uma was kishors wife and was after their riches having kicked Kishore in his state of poverty. He phoned Kishore that Uma, his wife, shall be restored to him the next morning. On the pretext of taking her to Poona for reasons of health, Komal handed her over to Kishore at the railway station. . Ramola was waiting for Kishore at his place. She was his auother victim, who was determined to wreak vengeance upon him. When Uma and Kishore reached liome, he was at his wits end to see Ramola there. Finding Ramola to be adamant in exposing him to Uma, he turned her out Hatred superceded love and she phoned Komal that Uma was neither his wife no he had taken her to Poona, rather he had locked her in a house at andheri where he was forcing her to sign a cheque. Komal rushed to the place with a revolver and begging her pardon brought her back. . On their return they found that the villain Kishore had succeeded in removing their child to an unknown place with the help of Harry. She lost the balance of her brain, rushed otu with a postol and shot Kishore to death. Komal also reached the spot and in their attempt to concela the dad body they were arrested by Bombays ever-vigilant police Inspector, for reasons unknown, asked his subordinates for the other woman who was incolved in the murder. Uma insisted that none else was involved in the murder. Uma insisted that none else was involved in this game of murder. At this Ramola entered and made a revelation that she had already shot Kishore before Uma came there and the Inspector was in possession of the proof-her broken nail found near the dead body. . Uma and Komal were allowed to go away. Uma did no want to go back to the house which she had turned into hell. But Lady Kapoor had already decide to perfrom the marriage. Komal said that he cousidered Uma as his mother and she too always loved him as her child. But Lady Kapoor was determined to perform the marriage-but with whom?
