He then acted in movies like: Devaragam (1996) , Alaipayuthey (2000) etc. He is also a businessman who has invested in many sectors like: engineering erection and construction, international trade to global outsourcing. He was born in Tiruchirapalli at Tamil Nadu. He was born on 30th June 1967. He was born to the Bharatanatyam dancer Vasantha Swamy and industrialist V. D. Swamy. He completed his education from Don Bosco Matriculation Higher Secondary School and bachelor’s degree from Loyola College, Chennai in 1990. He also finished his master’s degree from Wake Forest University in North Carolina. He is married to Gayathri Ramamurthy in 1994 and has one daughter, Adhira.
