Asha Bhosle is a Singer and also worked as Music Director, Actor. Asha Bhosle has mostly worked in Hindi and has worked in languages like Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, English.
Asha Bosle is the well known singer in bollywood. She is the sister of Lata Mangeshkar. She was born on 8th September 1933. She was born to Pandit.Dinnanath Mangeshkar. She is born in the family of classical singers. She along with her family members moved to Mmbai to support her family after her father’s death. She first gave her voice for a Marathi movie Majha Bal in 1943. She was also a child artist before she started singing in Hindi movies. Initially, she sang for low budget movies in bollywood. But, after her song Nanhe munne bachche in Raj Kapoor’s movie, she quickly received applauses for the song. Then she was offered many songs in movies like Kashmir ki Kali, Tmsa nahi dekha, CID etc. She then did many songs that became hit songs of the year. Songs like handamama door ke, and CAT..CAT mane bille gained many hits. She also proved her singing in various styles of music like: contemporary, disco, jazz etc. She also sang for well known heroines. She also featured in many video songs. Asha married twice.
