He was born on 15 December 1970.He is the famous playback singer. He is known for his singing in Oriya films. He has worked in many different languages. He is a BJP Candidate and won Lok Sabha elections by 74,000 votes. He was raised in Uttarparna. He is grandson of Composer- Banikantha NC Baral. He completed his education from Don Bosco High & Technical School, Liluah. He won 45 different college competitions .He completed his Honours Graduation in Commerce in 1991 from the Calcutta University in Kolkata, he worked at Standard Chartered Bank which was his First Job. He always thought about playback singing. He was first given break by Kalyanji. He has also done many stage shows. His hit songs during nineties were: aati hai to chal (saath rang ke sapne), ‘aaj meri zindagi mein’ (Khiladiyon ka khiladi), O piya piya (Agni Sakshi),"Hata sawan ki ghata" (Hello Brother) etc. But, his biggest hit was "Dil ne dil ko pukara" (Kaho Na Pyar Hai). His song ‘Sason ko sason me dhalne do jara’, from Hum Tum won hearts of millions. He was also awarded with many awards. He also anchored K..Kishore.
