She is also known as Bhagyashree Patwardhan. She was born on 23 February 1969. She is the Indian film and television actress. She is known for playing the role of Suman in Maine Pyar kiya. The movie became commercial hit and she was flooded with many offers. But, she didn’t turn to the films because she got married. She hails from Sangli, Maharashtra. Her father Vijay Singhrao Madhavrao Patwardhan hails from Raje family. She started her career with the serial Kacchi dhoop, by Amol Palekar. The serial did very well and later she did Honi Anhoni and Kisse Miya Biwi Ke. After she got married, she still acted in the movies like: Peepat's Qaid Mein Hai Bulbul, K.C. Bokadia's Tyagi and Mahendra Shah's Payal all opposite her husband Himalaya in 1992. She then did Ghar Aaya Mera Pardesi (1993) and then she left the industry. Then she made her comeback in the Telugu movie’ Yuvaratna Rana’ (1998). She is married to Himalaya and she has a son Abhimanyu.
