Her roles in the movies like: Kushi, Okkadu (2003), Tere Naam, Missamma, Gandhi, My Father and Anasuya. She was born to a Punjabi family. She completed her schooling in Delhi. She then got shifted to Mumbai and there she did many ads and started doing video albums. She also did Hip hip Hurray. Her role in the Bollywood movie Tere Naam was very much appreciated. She is married to her long term partner, Bharat Thakur. He is a Yoga teacher. Both of them dated each other for four years and later, she tied the knot with him.
