He is a Bengali and a Hindi actor. He was born on 14th Dec 1936. He is from Calcutta. He had worked in the movies such as Bin Badal Barsat, Kohraa, Kaise Kahoon, Majboor, and Paisa Ya Pyaar. He did movies such as Shehnai, Aasra(1964), Mere Sanam (1965), Night in London, April Fool (1964), Yeh Raat Phir Naa Aaygi (1966), Do Kaliyan (1968), Kismat (1968), Ishq Par Zor Nahin and Sharaarat (1972). He had worked with the famous actors such as Mumtaz, Waheeda Rehmaan, Hema Malini, Dharmendra, Shatrughan Sinha, Rekha, Mala Sinha, Asha Parekh, and Rajshree.
