Charmee Kaur’s date of birth is 17 May 1983. She has worked on many Telugu movies and she was born in Punjabi family in Mumbai. She schooled in Carmelite Convent English High School in Vasai. She made her Telugu entry from the movie Nee Thodu Kaavali' (2002). She did this movie at the age of 15, where she played the role of a housewife. The film didn’t work well and after this she still worked in many south Indian movies, but even those didn’t work. Then she made her re-entry with many films, again they didn’t work. Later, she did a movie named as Gowri (2002). Critics appreciated her role very much and then it was no looking back in her career. She was later appreciated for her dance moves in Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi. Then with many films, she gained the most prestigious award named as Nandi Award. She bagged the honor of the best heroine in 2007.Charmee did many women centric films and few of them were blockbuster.
