Chhabi Biswas is a Actor and also worked as Director. Chhabi Biswas has mostly worked in Bengali and has worked in languages like Bengali, Hindi.
He was born on 12 July 1900 and he died on 11 June 1962. He was a Bengali character actor. He is known for the movies like: Kabuliwala and Satyajit Ray's films Jalshaghar (The Music Room, 1958), Devi (The Goddess, 1960) and Kanchenjungha (1962). His father was Bhupathi Nath Biswas who was known as a charitable worker. He completed his matriculation from Hindu School, Chhabi Biswas admitted at the Presidency College and later at the Vidyasagar College. His performances in the movies like: Shoroshi (1940), Sita (1940), Kedar Roy (1941), and Shahjehan (1941). He acted in Bengali movies like: Ashok (1942), Parineeta (1942), Dwanda (1943), Matir Ghar (1944), Dui Purush (1945), Biraj Bou (1946) and Mandana (1950). He died due to a road mishap.
