He was born on August 8, 1932. He died on March 14, 1998. He was popularly known as Dadasaheb Kondke. He was a Marathi actor and also a film producer. He was one of the renowned personalities of Marathi cinema. He was born in Naigaon in Mumbai. He was born on Gokulastami and hence, he was named as Krishna. He was entered in Guinness book of world records for his nine that achieved silver jubilee running for 25 consecutive weeks. He was born in a mill family, who searched for the work. Then he started his work as a drama and theatre artist. He started his career by getting involved in Seva Dal. Then he worked in many theatres and personalities. He has worked with Vasant Sabnis who was a Marathi writer. Previously, Tamasha got banned and these lead him into the Marathi movies. He entered Marathi cinema with the film’ Tambdi Maati’. Then his next release was ‘Songadya’ which turned out to be the blockbuster. He then had no looking back and then he gave many hits. He was married to a woman, Nandani and later got separated.
