She was born on 3 January 1979. She is an Indian actress, model and former beauty queen. She also competed in Miss Universe. She started acting since, ‘Dhoop’ in 2003. Her movies include Dor, Dhoop, Manorama Six Feet Under, Hello, Straight, and Ab Tak Chhappan 2. Her role in the movie Dor got appreciation. She also made entry in the Punjabi movie Sarsa. She is also a member of Aam Aadmi Party. She started her education from Punjab. Her father was in army, so she completed her education from many different places and schools. She completed her Bachelors in Mathematics from Punjabi University, Patiala, and Masters in Political Science from Panjab University, Chandigarh. She was crowned as Miss Indian in 1999 and Miss was also crowned Miss Beautiful Smile in the same pageant.
