He was born in 1928 and he died on 28 July 2013. His name is noted in the Guinness book of world record for being the most type-cast actor. He played the role of police Inspector in more than 144 films. He was born in the town of Sargodha, British India. He also has a daughter Anita Raj who is also an actress. His hit movies include: Deewar, Don, Shakti, Mazdoor, Imaan Dharam, Gopichand Jasoos, Silsila, Aaina and Besharam. He used to play the role of villain and used to also play the role of judge sometimes. He died due to the respiratory ailment. He died at the age of 85.
