Krishna Chandra Dey is a Actor. Krishna Chandra Dey has mostly worked in Bengali and has worked in languages like Bengali, Hindi.
He was born on 26th August, 1893 in Kolkata. He was born on the eve of Janmashtami , hence he was named as Krishna. He was having Glaucoma from childhood and at the age of 12. He completed his primary education from Bowbazar School. He learnt music lessons from Sashimohan De, Badal Khan, Keramutullah, Radharomon Das, Kanthe Maharaj, Dabir Khan.He got married to the actress Miss Light. Very popular singers Manna De and Prabhas De are his nephews. He got his debut with the film " Chandidas” where he sang and acted at the same time. He composed songs for “Sabitri” in 1933.
