So he was shifted to Ooty.He was interested in acting and therefore joined the Nawab Rajamanikyam troupe. His first film was 'Bhaktha Ramadoss'. He has worked in the films such as Velaikaari, Manthiri Kumari, Thillana Mohanambal, Ayirathil Oruvan, Missiyamma and ‘Nenjam Marappadillai’. He did more than 1000 films.
