She gained appreciation for the film ’Ram teri ganga maili’, She was given the nomination for ‘Filmfare award for the best actress’. The movie became hit and she was recognized as Ganga in every house. She also acted in few more films like: Dance Dance with Mithun Chakraborty and Pyaar Karke Dekho with Govinda, but the films didn’t have much success. She was in relationship with Don Dawood.
