He was born on 29 September 1932 and he died on 23 July 2004. He was known as Mehmood. He was an Indian actor, singer, director and producer best known for playing comic roles in Hindi films. He worked in more than 300 films. He was born to Latifunnisa and film and stage actor-cum-dancer Mumtaz Ali. He was a superstar of 40s and 50s. He started working as a child artist in the film’ Kismet’. He also worked as a director to P. L. Santoshi. He got married to Meena Kumari’s sister, Madhu. After getting married, he decided to work in movies. So, he used to get small roles in many movies. He was recognized for his role in the film ’Bhoot Bangla’. He acted in movies like: Love in Tokyo, Aankhen, Johar-Mehmood in Goa, Bombay to Goa and Pyaar Kiye Jaa. He died in sleep due to a heart disease. One of his sons is Lucky Ali who is also a singer. He was remembered for his role in the film ’Andaz apna apna’.I. S. JoharHe was born on 16 March 1920 and he died on 10 March 1984. He was an Indian actor, writer, producer and director. He was born in Talagang, British India. He completed his education in Economics and Politics before completing his LLB. He worked in movies like: Harry Black (1958), North West Frontier (1959), Lawrence of Arabia (1962)[5] and Death on the Nile (1978), besides acting in Maya (1967). He got married to Ramma Bains in 1943 in Lahore and has a son and a daughter before they got separated. He married four times and also had a daughter Ambika Johar.
