He is a very famous actor. He got his first break in the movie Sawan Bhadon in 1970. He was very much appreciated for his role in the movie. Then he also received the award for the appreciation for his contribution in making the film and the television industry big. He was born on 11 April 1946. He is from Lahore. He did his schooling from the military school, Bangalore. He was also seen in movies like: Dhund, Victoria no. 203 and Hanste Zakhm. Later after this, he was seen in the television serial Dekh Bhai dekh. He also did many Punjabi films too. He is married to Neelu Kapur who is Dev Anand’s niece. After she got to know that he was in relationship with Padmini Kapila, both of them got separated. Padmini was also in relationship with Prakash Mehra. Then she got married to him and left Navin. Then Navin married Geetanjali. But she hanged herself and she blamed Navin for the same. But, Navin died of heart-attack on the Pune Mumbai expressway.
