He was born on 12 July 1974. He is an Indian film actor, director and a model. He was born in a Jat family. He hails from Kanjhawala, Outer Delhi. He completed his schooling from Modern School Vasant Vihar, New Delhi and then he went to Hans Raj College, Delhi University. He made his Bollywood debut with the film ‘Dillagi’. His next film was the Malayalam film ‘Ayyappantamma Neyyappam Chuttu’ along with Antara Mali. His performance in the film ‘Monsoon Wedding’ brought him the real fame. After this, he did 10 Bollywood movies. As a directorial debut, his first film was ‘Sahi Dhandhe Galat Bande’. This movie won him bronze palm award at the 2011 Mexico international film festival.
