Pran is a Actor and also worked as Producer. Pran has mostly worked in Hindi and has worked in languages like Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Punjabi, Tamil.
He was born in Delhi. He belonged to the Sikand family. He was born on February 12, 1920. His father was a well known civil contractor. His father was Kewal Krishan Sikand. He completed his education from cities like: Meerut, Kapurthala, Unao, Dehra Dun, & Rampur. He wanted to become a professional photographer.So, he joined the A. Das & Co. as an apprentice. Then he moved to Shimla and it was there he got his first role as a theatre actor with Madan Puri, and played the role of Sita in 'Ramleela'. He also did a Punjabi movie 'Yamla Jat' as a villain. Then his journey in the Hindi movies started with the film 'Khandaan' opposite actress Noor Jehan. He then re-located to Bombay and there he started his career in the Bollywood. He did around 270 films and portrayed many roles. He did the roles of villain, then in character roles, and is now unofficially called 'Villain of the Millenium'. He got married to Shukla. They have a son, Arvind who has born on August 11, 1946. They also had other two children: Sunil and Pinky. All his three children got married to their love lives. Pran had grandchildren.
