He then did: Stop Violence (2002), Swapnakoodu (2003), Akale (2004), Kana Kandaen (2005), Classmates, Vargam, Vaasthavam (2006), Mozhi, Thalappavu, Thirakkatha (2008), Puthiya Mukham (2009), Anwar (2010), Raavanan (2010), Urumi, Indian Rupee (2011), Ayalum Njanum Thammil (2012), Celluloid, Mumbai Police, Memories (2013) ,7th Day, Sapthamashree Thaskaraha (2014). He won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor in 2006 for his performance in Vaasthavam and in 2012 for Ayalum Njanum Thammil and Celluloid. He was born in Thiruvananthapuram to actors Sukumaran Nair and Mallika Sukumaran. He completed his schooling from St. Mary's Central School, Poojappura. He also did his schooling from Sainik School Kazhakoottam and Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan, Thiruvananthapuram.
