He was born on June 26, 1952. He is a Hindi and Punjabi hero. He completed his education from Agra. Later after this, he did the acting course from the National school of drama, New Delhi. He came into the contact with Manohar Lohia. He started his career with the film Sau Din Saas Ke. Then after his role in the movie Insaf ka Tarazu became a much hit.
