Sanjeev Kumar is a Actor and also worked as Assistant Director, Music Director, Producer, Director, Production Controller, Line Producer, Singer. Sanjeev Kumar has mostly worked in Hindi and has worked in languages like Hindi, Tamil, English, Kannada, Marathi, Gujarati, Telugu.
He was born as Harihar Jethalal Jariwala. He was born on 9 July 1938. He died on 6 November 1985. He was a very prominent actor of the Indian cinema. He had obtained several awards and 2 National awards for his performances in the films Koshish and Dastak. He was known for his work in the films Sholay and Trishul. He hails from Mumbai. He was born to a Gujarati family. His spent his childhood in Surat and later moved to Mumbai. He started as a stage actor and then joined the Indian National Theatre. He had worked in the films such as Aandhi (1975), Mausam (1975) etc. He made his debut in Hum Hindustani in 1960. He was unmarried.
