She belonged to a Rajput family.She is the daughter of a police inspector and she has three other siblings. She is schooled from DPS Noida. She graduated from the college Gargi College, New Delhi. She was also a contestant in Ms. India but, she didn’t win the contest. Later she won the Ms. World tourism in 2005.She also featured in many television commercials. She also did a music video with Himmesh Reshammiya’s music video. She then made her bollywood debut with the movie Jannat and as a result, this movie worked well in the box-office and she was appreciated for her role. She then also did many Telugu movies too.
