Utpal Dutta is a Actor and also worked as Director. Utpal Dutta has mostly worked in Bengali and has worked in languages like Bengali, Hindi, English.
He is a National Film Award-winning film critic. He was working with Bismoi, an entertainment Assamese magazine, Rang Ghar- cultural monthly and Roopkar-Cultural Monthly and later joins the All India Radio Guwahati. He did his Masters in Arts from Guwahati University. He also did his Post Graduation from Marketing Management. Then he joined as a Local reporter Natun Asomiya. He then joined as joined Sub Editor of Bismoi.v He is currently working in’ All India Radio’ at Guwahati station, the public service broadcaster of India, in the capacity of Programme Executive. He is married to Namrata Dutta. She is a writer and research fellow and both of them live in Guwahati with their daughter Ragamala.
