  This serial is telecasted on Star plus. The serial is about a girl, Anjali Singh Rawat. The story is based on the father-daughter relationship. Anjali’s father is strict and always wanted a boy. But he is blessed with a baby girl, Anjali. But he doesn’t pay heed towards Anjali just because she is a girl. Since child, her father considers her very weak. She grows up only to fulfill her father’s dream. Her father aims of doing an expedition to Mount Everest but unfortunately fails due to his own problems. It is after this, she is admitted in the College of mountaineering, Uttar Kashi. On the very first day, she impresses the Colonel and gets admission in the college. She meets with Aakash who falls in love with Anjali on the day he sees her. Aakash is a photographer who is about to shoot Arjun’s documentary. There in the college, Anjali excels in all the given tasks. She dreams of doing her expedition to Mount Everest with Arjun and Colonel. Then Colonel asks Mr. Roongta to sponsor Anjali. Now, Aakash also decides to go to the expedition. Colonel along with his team goes to the expedition. Then after this, they face many problems and hurdles but ultimately they are on their right track to reach the Everest. Initially, due to Anjali’s father objection Colonel decides not to take Anjali to her on the expedition. But even Anjali is firm on her decision and she decides to travel alone. This documentary is a combination of different stories compiled together. Every person doing an expedition has his own reason to climb Everest. Arjun is a thief and initially he is in love with a journalist, Reena. But due to some reasons both of them are separated. Destiny brings Reena and Arjun together on the same expedition. Arjun has his own reasons to climb Everest and Reena comes to take coverage of the expedition. Aakash and Anjali are in love with each other, but Anjali’s father wants her to get married to Pradhan. But Pradhan is in love with Anjali’s friend, Mitali. This is not known to Anjali and this stops her to confess her love to Aakash. Colonel has lost his wife and he is climbing Everest due to his own reasons. Then in the story there is Chand who is in love with Everest and has an interest in climbing Everest. The story highlights lives of many common people who have their own purpose to climb Everest due to their own reasons. Everest is a journey of love, dreams and aspirations all together. Mr. Roongta who sponsors this expedition has something evil on his mind because he has faced many worst financial crises in his business. The story also has weather predictor Mr. Khanna whose main duty is to guide the team about the weather conditions near Everest. The concept is very keen and lovable. This unique documentary of Ashutosh Gowariker makes you fall in love with all the characters taken.
