  My review of Kasautii Zindagii Kay (Star Utsav) by bangreaayushi

  Used to be our daily 8:30 Pm’s watch! This was a romantic drama created by by Ekta Kapoor for the channel STAR Plus. The serial ran for 7 years. The serial starred Shweta Tiwari, Cezzane Khan and many others. The show highlights the life of Anurag and Prerna who are friends since their childhood days. They meet each other after they are matured and the fall for each other. Both of them want to marry each other, but unfortunately, destiny every time separates them. Things change for this couple when Anurag is forced to marry Komolika. Prerna starts hating Anurag for this things and she is pregnant with his child. On the other end, there is Komolika who marries Anurag only for his wealth. After knowing the real face of Komolika, Anurag wishes to marry Prerna. But Prerna is forced to marry the business tycoon Rishab Bajaj. Again destiny repeats the same thing and both of them are separated. Prerna does this only to save Anurag’s business property. Now, destiny brings back Anurag and Prerna on the same platform when their son, Prem dies. It is during this phase, when Prerna is consoled by her husband Rishab Baja with whom she falls in love with. Rishab gets to know about Prerna’s soft corner for him. It is then Prerna reveals Anurag about her love for Mr. Bajaj and he advices her to forget her past and move ahead with Mr. Bajaj. She does so and later decides to confess her feelings for Mr. Bajaj. But, as she is about to express her feelings, she gets a news that Rishab Bajaj has met with an accident and he dies. Now, widowed Prerna decides to handle Baja’s responsibilities and takes care of his children, Tushar and Vishaka. The children decide to unite Prerna and Anurag again. But in the story it is revealed that Baja is alive and is in comma. After Bajaj returns to their lives, he starts creating misunderstanding between them and as a result, she leaves Basu house and Anurag marries to Aparna. Then after this, she gives birth to a baby girl, Sneha who is Anurag’s daughter. Then in the story, there shows a leap of 8 years. All the children are grown up and even Sneha is grown up. Sneha needs a bone marrow and in this turn, doctors suggest Anuraga and Prerna to have a second child. The story has many ups and downs and then in the end it is revealed that both Anurag and Prerna are killed and so is Mr. Bajaj and Komoli. But in the story, Mr. Bajaj survives and is in comma. Meanwhile in the end it is revealed that Prem writes a book on these two lovers and he writes that both of them are united after they die. This was the most viewed serial and even the characters have given their best to make it run for 7 years.
