This serial is produced by Ekta Kapoor of Balaji telefilms. The serial is taken by Manju Kapur’s Custody. The story starts with Raman Bhalla and Ishita Iyer. Raman is a divorcee and has two children. His elder son, Aditya lives with his ex-wife Shagun and his daughter, Ruhi lives with her family. Ruhi is a very innocent daughter who wants her father’s love. But her father gets himself engaged into work just because his wife left him. Ruhi’s family is shifted to an apartment and there Ruhi meets with Ishita Iyer. She is a dentist by profession but unfortunately cannot get married because she cannot bear children. After she meets with Ruhi, she is attached to the girl and finds the world of love in her. On the other end, there is Shagun who wants Ruhi’s Custody and she forces Ishita to explain Ruhi that she is her mother. Ruhi on the other end wants her father and Ishita to get married. The court orders Raman and Ishita to get married so that they can take care of Ruhi. Ishita decides to marry Raman only because of Ruhi’s wish. Slowly, Ishita adjusts herself in that family but not with Raman. Raman after knowing about Ishita’s adjustments comes to know about her good nature and he also starts compromising for her family. Ishita teaches Raman the real meaning of love and he starts falling in for Ishita. But here on the other end, there is Shagun who wants to marry Ashok, the love of her life. But Ashok plays the villain and he likes Mihika, the cousin of Ishita. He sets a plan for Shagun and it is Shagun herself who breaks this marriage. After this, it is Ashok who leaves Shagun just to marry Mihika. Mihika is in love with Mihir who is Shagun’s brother. After Ashok forces Mihika to get married to him, Shagun decides to get her family back including Raman. Mihika marries Ashok only to teach him a lesson but she doesn’t tell this to anyone else. The family gets distracted leaving Mihir, heart-broken. Shagun now uses her son Aditya to get back her lost love and her lost family. Ishita also welcomes them in her family only to get Aditya back in their lives. But it is on the auspicious occasion of Lohri, Ishita comes to know the real purpose of Shagun to get back into their lives, she decides to fight back for her family. It is Ishita’s planning to involve for mother-in-law in this act and get Aditya back but with a right teaching. Then there is a race competition in Ruhi’s school where the mums have to participate. Shaguna and Ishita both decide to take part and it is Ishita who wins the race and teaches Shagun a lesson. Shagun comes to know about impotency of Romi (Raman’s brother) and she decides to use him against ‘The Bhallas’ and ‘The Iyers’. But, it is Ishita who will help Romi in getting out of this trap set by Shagun. Wait to know more about the story.
