Story
Vijay lives a poor living in the Southern part of India. As he is not able to secure any job for his livelihood he takes to minor crime such as picking people’s pockets and theft. As a result of this he becomes aware to the police, who instead of handcuffing him ask him to go underground and seek out some gangsters. Vijay does this so, only to find out that he has been fooled by the police and ends up detesting them. Word of this gets out and a crook named Teja asks Vijay to get associated to him, which Vijay agrees. Then when Teja figures out that Vijay is not a police informer nor a crook of repute but a mere pick-pocket, he sends one of his boy to inquire about him, and to their amazement they find out that he is functioning undercover for the police. His men kidnap Munni, Vijay's girlfriend and hold her captive. The question is still left is Vijay really an agent of the police; a gang lead; or simply a pick-pocket.

Then when Teja finds out that Vijay is not a police informer nor a gangster of repute but a mere pick-pocket, he sends one of his men to inquire about him, and to their surprise they find out that he working undercover for the police. His men abduct Munni, Vijay's sweetheart and hold her captive. The question remains is Vijay really an agent of the police; a gang leader; or merely a pick-pocket.
