Amrita is a character who is brought up in a Ashram with all the good values of life taught to her at a young age.She comes across Sanjeevan and her affair with him results in her getting pregnant, but she insists on getting married .After marriage , her life becomes a life of agony and extreme torture at the hands of her husband and her mother-in-law.She suffers and suffers.Years pass and her son Anirban grows up and becomes a trouble maker, however one fine day, changes into a new leaf after a particular incident.Meanwhile Sanjeevan has a girfriend who becomes his priority but even she leaves him and goes away.All this while Amrita and Sanjeevan had already started living seperately and Amrita’s mother-in-law had in fact supported her daughter-in-law rather than her son and left nothing to him in her will.When Sanjeevan comes home to Amrita, it is too late.He tries to repay for his sins in a way which should be seen by all.
