Angaar 1980

Angaar is a 1980 Indian Bollywood social, drama film released on Jan 01, 1980. The film is directed by Ashok Roy, produced by P. Rana.
Two deaths occur in the same night in Moti Mahal at Mahabaleshwar. The heiress Meena (a minor) and a legacy are left behind. Meena brought up by her aunty in London, is called back to Bombay by her manager to take charge of her property. Here she comes to know that the death of her father was not natural, but that he was murdered. As per the legacy, Meena could asume full control of her property, only after her marriage. She was upset, at this condition Shanker Saxena, a young man arrives form London claiming to be her husband. He has all the necess- ary testimonials including a doctors certificate stating that Meena is suffeing form Amnesia. Another young man Vijay, who became frindly with Meena, during their London to Bomaby trip, comes to help her. They even go back to London to verify the documents and prove that Shanker is not her husband but an imposter. Shanker manages to reach london before them and somehow convinces Meena that he is her husband. They all return to Bomaby. . Meena receives a letter from `Annette, her best friend in London, about Shankers real identity. Shanker is arrested by the Bomaby Plice. . Now Meena is again in search of her fathers killer.
