Amar an otherwies happily married man gets addicted to liquor in the company of firend s and soon squanders away all that he has. His wife Mira is shocked when she finds that her husband is in heavy debt. She sacrifices all her monetary possesions to save her husbands prestige but to no end. . One day Amar is a state of drunkness sets fire to his timber godown and throws away from home his wife and infant child. Mira swears to bring up her little daughter by her own earnings and as destined meets `Baba Kaka, a grand old man who gives her shelter in his own home, and treats her like a dughter. Hear, Sudha grows into a sprightly child in the company of Manohar her playmate. . Manohar, has to leaves for a distant town as his father gets a new job years roll by Sudha in now a young girl and Manohar is working as an assistant manager with a reputable firm. He arranges to get a job for Sudha as the private secretay of Thakur Saheb who is the owner of the establishment. Sudha and Manohar as young lovers have every thing in like, till destiny again plays its game.
