The Sinha family subsets of Siddharth and his adopted boy Akash - both are doctors in a small hospital in India. Akash sees and falls in love with fellow-doctor, Neha Mathur. However, his dad says him to get wed to Sonia Kapoor, who is the only daughter of a millionaire - who has agreed to give considerable money to the hospital on the condition that Akash must get wed to Sonia. Unwilling to imperil his relationship with his foster father Akash agrees to do so, and the marriage takes place. After the marriage, Akash's life changes when he finds that Sonia is very hesitant and possessive, especially when she knows that Akash still has feelings for Neha.
