Anwar is a fun loving teenager who has a doting mother, Chandana. Chandana's in laws are devout Hindus. Chandana's sister in law Meera,is in love with a dashing Punjabi lad Karan, who has business interests. Celebratory scenes are punctuated with tense and tender moments but when crisis follows crisis and the sky literally falls on
their heads who provides the impossible solution? The story is set in contemporary 'upper middle class' India and takes the viewer through a fast paced narrative that pans rural and urban locales with an
emotional content that is both intense and touching.
