With " Atithee " Arbind sen tells a story of friendship, love & pain. Anand comes to Nabendu's home, as "Atithee". Nabendu is on 1 year exile from city. There he learns about the meagre situation of family . Due to which Leena ( Nabendu's Sister ) does some menial job. Anand, slowly tries to bring back the smile on the family member's faces and he succeeds a bit. The only problem is Avinash Gupta who has Nabendu's home on lease. He has his lusty eyes set on Nabendu's sisters. Ultimately , Anand manages to save the family from his hands, too. Is that all what the family wants ? No. They want a secret which he has never revealed about his identity & Nabendu's Lilfe. Will he reveal it?

Anand comes to his friends family in a village t convey to them the news of his friends death, but does not reveal the news on seeing the plight of the family. He becomes attached to the family and falls in love with the eldest daughter, putting a wedge in the plans of the local strongman. He fights with the strongman and gets the mortgaged articles back for the family. This infuriates the strongman, who supplies the police with the background of Anand, who is taken away by them. While going, he disclose the death of his friend out promises the family that would soon be back to marry the eldest girl and also to look after the family.
