Baat Ek Raat Ki is a 1962 Indian Bollywood suspense film released on 1962. The film is directed by Shankar Mukherjee, produced by Shankar Mukherjee under banner named Alankar Chitra, music composed by S. D. Burman.

Rajesh is a lawyer by profession. One day when he had gone for an outing, he finds a girl attempting to commit suicide. He saves her life, but later discovers that, the girl, whose name is Neelam / Neela has run away from Police custody. Neela is a convict of murdering Ranjan. Rajesh gets to meet Neela's widowed mother. She tells him that Neela is innocent and she has been trapped in this situation by someone else. Rajesh decides to re-open Neela's case but Neela herself thinks that she is a murderer. Rajesh goes deep into the details of her story, and discovers that there is someone else behind the scene. The story gets more & more thrilling when suspense gets revealed slowly.
