Story, Synopsis, Trivia, Dialogues for Bada Din (1998)
It is Christmas Day in Calcutta and David Dawson is off to enjoy it with his girlfriend named Nandini Shom. The meeting does not go as Nadine wants him to start working so that they can get wed and start a family, while David wants a profession as a musician. She tells him that she will never face him again. After this, he returns to his rented apartment and is berated by his landlady named Lillian, who threatens to have him expellees as he has been delinquent in paying his rent for over a year now and will not permit him to party with his friends. To make conditions worse, Raka who is a dumb boy, tells him in sign language that he has just see a murder in a barbershop and the killers are after him. David takes the crook to the policestation where he files a F.I.R. on Raka's absence. What David and Raka do not know is that this is going to be last sane time in their lives, as soon the killers will be literally moving on their doorstep demanding that David takes off the F.I.R. or this may well be his last Christmas.
