Nikhil Mahajan’s Baji achieves a rare feat of being a powerful action saga narrated and crafted in an artistic way. It is a benchmark of sorts for Marathi cinema when it comes to presenting a story. However, the film doesn’t rise as much as you expect after a brilliant first half due to various reasons. But there is enough in Baji for the masses to savor it.

A superhero tale from the folklore and inspirations from many Hollywood films. That is Shreyas Talpade starrer Baji all about. What is left for the audience is the message that Marathi cinema’s first attempt at Superhero flick fails to impress even the ordinary audience. But the film surely is not a complete failure. But its loopholes are so massive that you ignore to appreciate the positives.

Review: The film is also a grand comeback for Shreyas Talpade into Marathi films after 8 years. But, as far as the screenplay of the film is concerned, it seems to be inspired by few Bollywood films.
