Bangshadhar is a 2001 Indian Bengali drama film released on 2001. The film is directed by Abhijit Sen, produced by Rahul Ghosh , music composed by Tabun Sutradhar.

Jamindar Khokon Chowdhuri's father is killed by his younger brother Pwena. His wife looks after his business. When Khokon was young, his mother went to London. Pwena took Khokan to his farmhouse where Khokon is married to a village young girl, Rupa. His mother does not know about this marriage. When she comes back and hears this, she is shocked. Khokon has a child, Raja whom his grandmother has given the entire property. Pwena kills his sister-in-law and captures Khokon. Rupa has a another son Proloy, with whom she lives with her step brother Kalam. Raja and Proloy fight each other but when Rupan and Khokan meet, they find out about their parentage.
