Behroopia is a 1971 Indian Bollywood film released on 1971. Maharaj Ranjeet Singh was released from Jail after he had comleted his 9 years term for the murder of his elder brother. But the punishment did not abet his anger. He felt for the abolition of states. Abolition of prevy-purses and other privilages worked as oil on fire. He along- with his associates therupon charted their course to overthrow, democratically elected Government and to establish personal monarchy in India. . Unexpectedly his shceme met opposition from his own younger brother Ajay and his 9 years ols son Bharat. They were encouraged and abeted by his own wife Sita Devi. . Ranjeet was furious. He ordered that they all be killed. . But Ajay and Bharat were more cunning than Ranjeet and his assocates.
