Belli Betta is a 2006 Indian Kannada romance film released on Apr 13, 2006. The film is directed by Rajesh Hoskere, produced by Huthesh Kenchikoppa , music composed by A T Raveesh. It is a story of a village girl who falls in love with a postman. However, she ends up in the flesh trade due to unforeseen turns of events. Eshwari (Maanya), the daughter of village head Nagegowda (M P Shankar) and Annapurna (Jayanthi), falls in love with the postman Krishna (Shivamani) for his simplicity. Her parents decide she should marry the vagabond Prasanna (Harish Roy). When they learn of her love for Krishna, they make him and his grandmother leave the village. Eshwari unwillingly marries Prasanna. Her life takes a tragic turn from the first night after the wedding. Prasanna leaves for Dubai at his boss diktat. She gets caught in a police raid in a hotel where she had gone to meet Prasanna's boss. When her parents know of this they commit suicide.
