"The dry bread of honesty is preferable to the buttered one of dishonesty. "Vijays father, a man of great piety, craving for the elusive dry bread of honesty, one day departed from this world. Vijay bitter with the story state of things, reasoned furiuosly that worldliness and stealing were the same...he who is caught is labelled a thief, and he who goes scot free is called a man of the worid. Vijays conscience often goaded him to follow like his father straight but hungry path of honesty but the world and its temptations would not let him leave the crooked road to prosperity and success. . One day Vijay and his accomplice Raj went to the house of Seth Rekh Chand to steal, and started fighting over the loot. In the struggle Vijay choked Raj to death with his muffler...But God decides to use a six year old child as His instrument to exorcise the devil from the heart of Vijay and to restore him back to the realm of humanity. Vijay kidnapped the child, an eye witness of his crime to seal his lips forever. Many a time his conscience called to him int he voice of his beloved Kanchan...at every step the innocence of the child stayed his hands...the Shadow of God fell on the Devil and Human sleeping in the heart of Vijay woke up... . Vijay took the child to his parents and then surrendered himself to the police..but the police inspector, told him that Raj was not dead.. but along with Shashi and others, he was in jail for keeping a gambling house and making illict liquor and Seth Rekh Chands child was back safe and sound from his uncles place. .
