Ratan, a factory worker suddenly become a millionaire by winning a lottery. His wife died at childbirth. Asha was born but her father vowed never to see her face. He remarried and Asha stayed with her aunt. Asha's step brother Chandan admired and adored his step-sister. Unfortunately Chandan lost his hand in an accident. Ratan & his wife decided to throw Asha from the house thinking her to be an evil influence on the family. She was married off to Amal. Just after the marriage, Ratan's textile industry got destroyed by a fire. In the meanwhile Asha started getting tortured by her mother-in-law for giving birth to a dead child. However while giving birth to a second child, she passed away. Her father understood his faults and atoned for them though it was all too late.
