Story, Synopsis, Trivia, Dialogues for Bhai (1997)
Kundan is an innocent and simpleminded young boy who comes to Bombay City from a small village in Uttar Pradesh, along with his younger bro named Krishna. Upon going to Bombay, he is followed by a young lady named Pooja, who also assists Krishna to read and write. The area where they live is being terrorized by a crook named David. When Pooja's advocate father, Satyaprakash attempts to take this case to court, he is murdered. Kundan avenges his death by beating up David, and making a big fame for himself. Soon he is accepted by everyone around, and attains the position of a crook with a good heart. Kundan weds Pooja, and few months later they are proud mom and dad of a baby boy. It is then that Pooja questions this existence, and wonders if she would like to have her boy also grow up to be like his daddy. Her attempts to protect Kundan are in vain, for Kundan has gone too far ahead in this game, and the only they can stay alive is by creating a status quo. But will this decision be answerable to Pooja?
