Bijoya is a 1936 Indian Bengali drama,family film released on 1936. The film is directed by Dineshranjan Das, music composed by Timir Baran Bhattacharya.

Bijaya’s late father Banamali Babu had two childhood friends Jagadish and Rashbehari. After his wife died Jagdish, even at this elderly age became wayward. But only Banamali knew that Jagadish was a man of kind heart. Banamali had a soft corner for Jagadish’s son Naren. Rashbehari had an eye for Bijaya’s property. So he decided to get her married to his only son Bilas. But the work was not as easy as he thought. At first differences of opinion started when Naren was evicted from his father’s house. Bijaya’s wanted to give Naren some more time. But suddenly she came to know about his eviction. So on one side Bijaya started disliking Rashbehari and Bilas and on the other side, she started feeling for Naren. At this time Naren sold his last propety, a microscope and he wanted to leave the place. The love between Naren and Bijaya became move intense and it created some tension between her and Rashbehari. Now Nalini came into the scene. She was the temple head Dayal's niece. Nalini understood that Bijaya was in love with Naren. But Bijaya misunderstood Nalini and thought that Naren is attracted towards Nalini. Rashbehari declared that Bilas would marry Bijaya. Dayal invited everybody one day where he announced the marriage between Naren and Bijaya. At last all the conspiracies of Rashbehari and Bilas were foiled and Naren married Bijaya.
