It deals as much with drain pipe pants, twists and Jam sessions as with the thought processes to teenagers who take pride in calling themselves Beatnik boys and girls and their misguided parents who in an attempt to show off, quite often land their children in disaster. . Cha cha Cha thus depicts the conflict of ideologies afflicting the present day generation which feeds and flourishes on fads and fast living. And to enrich its content and canvas, its story moves about from Kasmir to Bombay and from Bombay to Hyderbad,embracing in its fold characters and cultural problems which we face everyday but never care to assess or analyse. .
