Story, Synopsis, Trivia, Dialogues for Chaalbaaz (1989)
Anju and Manju are the twin characters (both played by Sridevi) who are parted from each other after their birth. Then the story is forwarded again with the killing of their mom and dad by an evil uncle Tribhuvan (played by Anupam Kher). He brings up Anju as evasive and frightened girl. These two girls are separated. Manju grows big in a basti as a happy-go-lucky club dancer. After many troubles in Anju's life, one day she gets away from home in which she lived for years. Then one day, Manju has a strong dispute with her neighbor named as Jaggu (played by Rajnikant), a happy beer drinking taxi driver. They somehow last up at each other’s place. Sooraj (played by Sunny Deol) is the sweetheart of Manju(who is living in the home as Anju).And on the other hand, her uncle Tribhuvan and aunty Amba want Anju to marry Batuknath Lalan Prasad Malpani (played by Shakti Kapoor), who is the guy of Amba. Then after many troubles and obstacles the two girls, Anju and Manju are united and they seek revenge against Tribhuvan and his wife.
