Story, Synopsis, Trivia, Dialogues for Chaalis Chauraasi (2012)
The movie has main characters Pankaj Suri a.k.a. Sir (Naseeruddin Shah) who is the English professor and has been imprisoned for ten years for killing his wife. After completion of his punishment, he now works as a driver for hawala king Balsara Choksi (Manoj Pahwa). Bhaskar Sardesai alias Bobby (Atul Kulkarni) is an aspiring singer who ends up as a pimp. Albert Pinto (Kay Kay Menon) is a car thief who is extremely fond of branded cars. Shakti Chinappa (Ravi Kishan) is a drug seller. Sir learns of a fake.
The four gets engaged in the tragedy. The four get a stolen van painted like a police van as they intend to pose as police officers. However, the stolen van whose number is 4084 and is painted to resemble a police van is further stolen. A few hours before their plan is to begin, a police inspector, Mahesh Nayak (Rajesh Sharma), intercepts their van and asks to catch the gangster Tony Bisleri (Zakir Hussain). The four frauds have no option but to obey the inspector. In all this, Mahesh Nayak the main inspector actually knows that they are culprits. Toney is further arrested and then Mahesh plans to kill these 4 culprits. The next part I very interesting and further has many twists and turns.
