Detained by Delhi Police, Mussaddi Lal Tripathi confesses his wrongdoing is because he is a 'normal man'. Initial with his giving up work as a school-tutor, and then the illness and succeeding death his wife, Shanti, he circles about to achieve last cremations in a number of sanctified places along with his jobless idler-son, Bunty. After inducing railway staffs for letting them mobile without permits, the duo are then swindled by experts who care them an armrest and a leg for acting Hindu burning monies, and Bunty then leaves him after their garments get taken. Three months far ahead, he comes back home to find that both power and the handset have been detached due to non-recompense of bills, & misunderstanding supremacies when bank bureaucrats blame him of taking a loan. But the nastiest is yet to come when he will be disadvantaged of any revenue after Annuity and Books Office inform him that he is 'officially deceased'. He will now be potholed against more exploitation when he sets about to evidence that he is very much not dead, while five administration workers, Bhatia, Pandey, Patel, Ushaa, and Shukla, are strong-minded to aggravate all his labors.
