Mohan a C.I.D. Inspector on hs way back to Bombay happens to come across Chandu, a Crook who professes to be a businessman. Mohan suspects chandu and his suspicions ar econfirmed when during the right Chandu tried to steal his purse. As Chandu also was going to Bombay, Mohan stikes an acquaintance to know more about his activites. . Mohan has got a soft corner for a young girl Sima who had been brought up by her mother. Since her father had deserter them because he was an addict to liquor. Sima on the other hand gets infatuated towarde Roshan, a devil may care person and due to inferiority complex oannot distinguish between right and wrong. . Chandu in the maeantime happens to meet Fantoo, who is now in Bombay after eluding Chandu in Delhi. Fantoo kidnapas Mohans brother Ashok who in reality is Chandus son to blackmail Mohan.
