Chashme Baddoor 1981

Chashme Baddoor is a 1981 Indian Bollywood film released on 1981. Three young men share a typical Delhi terrace room. Jomo, a film frantic (Ravi Baswani) and Omi, a self-styled poet (Rakesh Bedi) are lovable loafers, seemingly without a care in the world. Siddharth (Farouque Shaikh) is the studios one, concentrating on his brilliant academic career. He has no time for frivolous things. . All three are heavy smokers and are constantly in debt to Lallan Mia, (Saeed Jaffrey) the local paanwalla, who inspite of his tough exterior is a real softie at heart. . The boys lead a happy blissful existence until a fair intruder, Neha (Deepti Naval) disrupts the peacce in their lives. . Jomi and Omi try to woo her with disastrous results. It is the unsuspecting Siddharth who manages to win her heart without really trying. . A beautiful, idyllic relationship develops, and Siddharth the serious scholar turn into a Romantic Romeo. . Their joy, however, is shortlived, as Jomo and Omi, jealous to see their friend win the g irl, resort to mischief. They manage to poison Siddharths mind against Neha. . Siddharth and Neha realise that the path of love is strewn with throns They pine eah other, but things have gone beyond repair. Till, that is repentant Omi and Jomo decide to re-unite the lovers with the help of Nehas charming Granny (Leela Mishra) and the benevolent Lallan Mia the paanwalla. . A crazy plot is hatched which includes a kidnapping, a mad chase, gunplay action and commotion. . It is a miracle indeed, that the lovers are finally united, and everyone lives happily after.
